Life Legacy
Marvin William Pawlowski
Sturgis, South Dakota
Marvin Pawlowski passed away on January 2, 2007, in Routt County, Colorado. Marvin was 51 at the time of his death, born December 5, 1955.
Marvin graduated from Brown High School in Sturgis in May 1974. He also attended electronics school at the Denver Technical Academy and started his lifetime of service to Jesus Christ while attending Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota. He worked as a dry-wall residential construction worker for most of his life. He resided in Sturgis, South Dakota; Ft. Wayne, Indiana area; and Thibodaux (Baton Rouge area of Louisiana) and lately in Nevada and California. He was recently employed by the SMS Custom Home Builders in Jackson, Wyoming.
Marvin was a devote Christian and continued his study of life, the bible and his service to Jesus his whole life. His faith was strengthened by the Pentecostal Church and his many Christian friends throughout the country. These quotes from Marvin show his commitment to God. Everyday he is showing us his perfect plan, all we have to do is obey. Again and again, I continue to try in my own way to accomplish what I know to be impossible Yet, even in my failings I have found a certain peace that cannot be shattered by others unless I choose to draw away from the absolute sure promises of Jesus, the Christ of God who is still saving men and women from themselves. Peace, Love, Joy in the Holy Spirit of God. Grace and truth by Jesus the Messiah. After all is said and done there is rest for the weary and hope.
Marvin is survived by his brothers Donald R. Pawlowski of Reno, Nevada, and Larry J. Pawlowski of Gaithersburg, Maryland. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Max Pawlowski and Olive Schenk Pawlowski and an infant death brother Richard.
A memorial service will be held at the Black Hills Funeral Home in Sturgis at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2006 followed by inurnment at the Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis. A reception for family and friends will be held at the Best Western of Sturgis (formerly Philtown) following the service.
